Description

The hotel/guesthouse was completely renovated in 2007, and here you can enjoy a fantastic view over the Kapellplatz day in, day out. The sun terrace is especially inviting during the warm months. The hotel rooms were completed at the end of 2010, completely renovated and stylishly furnished. As our hotel guest, you enjoy free wi-fi in the restaurant and all hotel rooms. Since May 2019, the hotel has been extended by the new guest house. The Stadthaus Valentin is located in the immediate vicinity of the Hotel Münchner Hof, directly below the Kapellplatz and was newly renovated for the opening. Breakfast is served to guests at the Hotel Münchner Hof.

The hotel is in a prime, central location - a perfect base for visiting numerous sights and at the centre of all the action.

The Münchner Hof building has been located on the famous Kapellplatz in Altötting since 1681.

Arrival Description

From Munich: in an easterly direction via the A94 and the B12, it is 95 km. 80 km via Erding, Dorfen, Mühldorf. From Passau: in a south-westerly direction via the B12, it is 90 km. From Salzburg: in a north-westerly direction via the B20, it is 60 km. If you arrive by car, please note our hotel guidance system. All accommodation establishments are divided into three different colour zones according to access routes. The Hotel-Gasthof Münchner Hof is located in the blue colour zone. Please follow the corresponding signs from the entrance to the town. Address tip: The Hotel-Gasthof Münchner Hof is located directly at the Kapellplatz. Below the hotel is the underground car park at Kapellplatz (subject to charge). You can reach it via the Inner Ring, Kapuzinerstr. 6 and Popengasse.

Which positive impressions did you have?

Der Mitarbeiter in der Rezeption und fast alle im Restaurant sind sehr gastfreundlich. Der Cappuccino schmeckt sehr gut! Das Zimmer war in Ordnung und ansprechend gestaltet. Die zentrale Lage ist ein absoluter Pluspunkt. Und die Mitarbeiter in der Küche machen auch einen guten Job: Das Essen sieht schön aus und schmeckt. Ich werde bei Bedarf wieder mal kommen. Ja, und dass es in der Lounge (OG 1) einen Espresso-Automaten für Gäste gibt, an dem man sich zwischendurch mal einen schnellen Kaffee holen kann, fand ich eine willkommene Idee.

Which negative impressions did you have?

In meinem Zimmer war die Deckenlampe ausgebrannt. Außerdem müsste der Duschvorhang wieder einmal erneuert werden.
