Our bright, lovingly furnished non-smoking holiday flat (58 sq m) on the first floor offers everything you need for a relaxing stay in the Chiemgau region. Enjoy relaxing moments on the sunny south-facing balcony with a stunning view of Hohenaschau Castle and the mountains. The cosy living area features a well-equipped kitchenette with a hob, oven, dishwasher and coffee machine, as well as a pull-out sofa bed. A comfortable double bed awaits you in the separate bedroom. The modern bathroom is equipped with a shower, toilet and hairdryer. Bed linen and towels are, of course, included. Your dog is also welcome for an additional fee. A private underground parking space is available for your use. Please note: There is no Wi-Fi available in the flat - ideal for really switching off.

Description

The historic Haus Elisabeth is situated in peaceful, natural surroundings between the Prien and the small Hammerbach streams, offering magnificent views of the surrounding mountains. Its central location means you can easily reach many attractions on foot: the valley station of the Kampenwandbahn cable car, Hohenaschau Castle, the falconry centre, and several cosy restaurants with beer gardens. A Kneipp facility with direct access to the stream is just a few steps away. The village centre, with its shops and bus stop, is about 1.5 km away and easily accessible. Numerous hiking and walking trails start right outside the house, leading you into the beautiful natural surroundings of the Chiemgau region. Dogs are welcome for an additional fee. For guests staying in several apartments, a barbecue area, a sunbathing lawn, a bicycle shelter, and coin-operated washing machines and dryers are available. A private underground parking space is reserved for your stay.

The area around Aschau and Lake Chiemsee offers a wide range of excursion options to make your holiday varied and unforgettable. Just a few kilometres away lies Lake Chiemsee, the 'Bavarian Sea'. Larger cities are also within easy reach: Munich delights with its culture, shopping and historic squares, whilst Salzburg impresses with its Baroque old town, Hohensalzburg Fortress and musical flair. Arrival Description

By car: A8 motorway Munich/Salzburg - take the Aschau/Frasdorf or Bernau exit, then turn left towards Aschau/Kampenwandbahn. Coming from Frasdorf: Pass the entrance to Aschau i.Ch., continue straight on along Rosenheimer Straße, past the petrol station; at the roundabout, take the first exit and follow the road to the traffic lights; turn right at the traffic lights and continue to the junction, then turn left into Zellerhornstraße; follow the road for approx. 1.5 km; house no. 66 is on the right-hand side.
