The spacious single room (18-20 sqm) ensures the best possible night's sleep with an ergonomic, point-elastic mattress with climate fibre. The individual room furnishings were made by a carpenter and the cosy sitting area rounds off the new living feeling. Of course, all rooms have a place for your correspondence and laptop, a satellite TV and free W-LAN. Some rooms have access to a furnished balcony. The bathroom offers you a large shower with fixed partitions. Toiletries and a hairdryer are available free of charge.

You enter our new holiday apartment for 2 persons on the ground floor via a separate entrance from the parking lot. A small kitchen is equipped with dishwasher, 4 plate ceramic hob, oven, fridge, microwave, coffee machine, kettle and toaster. In the living area there is a sitting area and a table group. Bathroom: The toilet room is separate from the shower area with a generous washstand. The separate bedroom is equipped with a double bed and wardrobe. Bed linen, hand and shower towels are available and are included in the price, as are electricity, water, heating and final cleaning. The weekly cleaning of your holiday apartment from an 8-day stay is also included in the accommodation price.

Description

The newly renovated rooms and the child-friendly family rooms (non-smoking) invite you to feel good. We offer a rich breakfast with many regional and homemade products. The terrace and the large garden invite you to linger. Dogs are welcome by arrangement and for an extra charge. A coin-operated washing machine and dryer, as well as ironing facilities are available for all guests. Of course you can use free W-Lan in the whole house. Our large car park is available free of charge for your car, van or truck. Storage facilities for bicycles and motorbikes are available.

Environment description

From the Bauerngirgl you can reach the Alpine world of the Alps on foot, and the most beautiful sights in Berchtesgaden and Salzburg Land in no time by car. Situated at the foot of the Lattengebirge, with a view of the Predigtstuhl, the Untersberg, Zwiesel and Hochstaufen, the Hotel Bauerngirgl offers an all-round view of the wonderful Alpine world of the Berchtesgaden Alps. Bus and train and the Bayerisch Gmain hiking centre are only a few minutes' walk away.

About the host

We are pleased to welcome you to the "Bauerngirgl". After a complete renovation and refurbishment in 2017/2018, all bathrooms were redesigned, the rooms completely renovated and newly furnished by the carpenter.

Arrival Description

Car: BAB Munich - Salzburg A8 exit Bad Reichenhall B20 direction Berchtesgaden 1,3 km after Bad Reichenhall 1st street right after the place name sign Bayerisch Gmain turn right into Lattenbergstraße. On the left side the 1st house is the "Bauerngirgl". The IC Königssee runs from Hamburg-Altona to Berchtesgaden with a stop in Bayerisch Gmain. Otherwise the BLB- Berchtesgadernerland Bahn runs every hour. Munich Airport is 165 km/ and Salzburg Airport is 12 km away from us.

Which negative impressions did you have?

Ich habe wohl nicht genau genug gelesen. Die Werbungsanzeige „Gasthof-Hotel“ hat in mir falsche Erwartungen erzeugt. In meinen 40 Jahren Außendienst mit einigen Tausend Übernachtungen in Europa und im östlichen Ausland habe größten Wert darauf gelegt, dass ich da wo ich schlafe bei gutem Essen und Getränken meine Geschäftspost erledigen und mich entspannen konnte. Leider ist der „Bauerngirgl“ nur eine einfache Frühstückspension mit ungemütlichem, pflegeleichtem Zimmer. So gesehen war es vertretbar. Urlaub möchte ich da nicht machen. So sollte überlegt werden ob der Begriff „Gaststätte- Hotel“ nicht erheblich übertrieben ist und so falsche Erwartungen auslöst. Thomas Habersetzer
