Our mountain inn Pechhäusl is located in the middle of the Berchtesgaden mountains at an altitude of 1,100 meters in an isolated location. For several generations, the former farm with the beautiful wide meadows and the nearby forest has been owned by our family. In our pension with rooms and vacation apartments you can spend a dreamlike vacation. For especially relaxing nights, we have equipped some of our units with pine beds. Each unit is completely individual, cozy and lovingly furnished. In the evening we cook fresh and regional food for you in our restaurant. Enjoy the summer in our garden. The sunbathing lawn invites you to linger. The old lime tree protects you from too much sunshine in our beer garden. You can start to numerous hikes directly from the house. In winter you can start directly from the terrace to the ski slope of the ski area Rossfeld. The excursion destinations of Berchtesgaden are easy to reach by car and bus.Breakfast from 8.00-10.00 for early risers and hikers by arrangement.
About the host
Since 2010, after the handover from our parents, we Christiane and Manfred Metzenleitner lead the historic house "Pechhäusl". We try to convey tradition, customs as well as coziness and tranquility that radiates from the Berchtesgadener Land, to our guests to offer you a beautiful and relaxing vacation. We receive great support in our family business from our two sons Andreas and Thomas and our parents Lisal and Franz.

Gastraum wenig ansprechend. Speisekarte viel zu klein, wenig Auswahl. Kaffee schmeckte nicht, viel zu schwach. Billige Aufbackbrötchen, Wurstauswahl unzureichend. Immer das gleiche. Handtücher wurden erst nach Anfrage gewechselt. Unpersönlich, manchmal genervt. Ich fand die Frage jeden Tag nervig...Essen sie heute bei uns? Ich habe es noch nie erlebt das man am ersten Urlaubstag auf mich als Gast zukommt und bereits die gesamte Rechnung fordert. Unmöglich!!!

Die Gastgeber sind sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Sie haben tolle Tipps für Aktivitäten jeglicher Art. Man spürt die Liebe der Gastgeber zur Tradition und die ehrliche Gastfreundschaft. Außergewöhnliche, ruhige und Abgeschiedene Lage.

Die Kleiderbügel im Schrank waren klebrig. Wir haben sie nicht genutzt, daher war es für uns kein Problem. Das Haus ist etwas hellhörig. Wenn man nicht lärmempfindlich ist, ist es aber kein Problem.

Die Lage und Ausstattung des Berggasthofs haben uns sehr gut gefallen.
Which negative impressions did you have?
Wir wurden mit unserer Gruppe von 10 Personen leider erst sehr kurzfristig informiert, dass im Berggasthof kein Abendessen am Freitag und Samstag möglich ist. Wir wollten eigentlich am Abend die schöne Lage genießen und nicht mehr mit dem Auto wegfahren. Das ging dann leider nicht mehr.

Wir waren rundum begeistert. Die Lage, die gute Aussicht runter ins Tal und die absolute Ruhe waren sehr erholsam. Das Frühstück war jeden Tag sehr lecker und reichhaltig und auch die Gastgeber waren jederzeit freundlich und aufmerksam. Alles in allem kann man den Gasthof nur empfehlen.

Die Gastgeber, Christiane und Manfred Metzenleiter sowie die ganze Familie, haben immer ein offenes Ohr. Gerne helfen sie bei Fragen für Unternehmungen weiter und geben Tipps. Das Essen im Pechhäusl ist hervorragend und das Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis unschlagbar. Wir essen lieber im Pechhäusl als in anderen Restaurants. Auch auf Sauberkeit wird hier sehr viel Wert gelegt. Was man noch hervorheben muss, ist der phantastische Ausblick und die Ruhe die man wunderbar genießen kann. Wir kommen seid ca 6 Jahren ins Pechhäusl und das ein- bis zweimal im Jahr und wir möchten diese familiäre Gastlichkeit nicht missen.

Pechhaeusl ist DIE Pension, sage ich, im Berchtesgadner Land, per Lage und Anwesen und Gastwirt-Ehepaar, auch vom Preis-Leistungs -Verhaeltnis. FeWo bedeutet, da ist mehr Platz, Essgruppe, Kuechenzeile. Kuehlschrank kam sehr gelegen! Hoehe ueber Meeresspiegel ist 1100 m, schon allein deswegen ideal im heißen Sommer. Sehr ruhig gelegen, gleichwohl in Naehe von all dem, was zu erleben ist.

Zugestanden, Es war superheisses Wetter. Extrem ungewoehnlich. Ein Ventilator waere toll gewesen. Aber wer bereitet sich auf solche Hitze vor? Auf 1100 m Hoehe war die Nachtruhe sicher besser als unten im Ort!.

Ich hatte einen wirklich tollen Aufenthalt. Die Gastgeberin war sehr freundlich bei jeder Frage wurde mir geholfen. Der Ausblick von meinen Zimmerbalkon war wunderschön, und es stimmt ich habe so gut geschlafen wie lange nicht mehr. Absolut sauber und gepflegt ich kann nicht einen negativ Punkt aufzählen. Parkplätze sind da, Frühstück super und das Abendbier hat köstlich geschmeckt . Ich werde definitiv wiederkommen.

Sehr freundliche Gastgeber. Seit übee 30 jahren komme i h nach Berchtesgaden und umgebung. Diese Unterkunft zählt für mich absolut zu den besten in denen ich Gast sein durfte. Für mich persöhnlich war es schön kein Telefon Netz zu haben😀 . WLAN TOP Wir waren auch mit unserem Jack Russel da . Somit au h für Hunde 👍

Eine ruhige, idyllische Lage etwas abseits der Stadt Berchtesgaden. Das Zimmer ist ausreichend groß und verfügt über ein bequemes Bett. Im Bad gibt es leider nur wenige Ablagemöglichkeiten, besonders in der Dusche.

Wir haben einen kleinen Familien-Ausflug unternommen und bevorzugt eine Lage etwas mehr in der Natur gesucht. Wir sind beim Berggasthof Pechhäusl absolut fündig geworden !! Unsere Erwartungen wurden allesamt mehr als übertroffen. Von der Freundlichkeit, Gastfreundschaft, hübsch gestaltete und mit viel Liebe gestaltete Räumlichkeiten. Ein großes Plus war für uns auch die Möglichkeit, abends im Berggasthof speisen zu können. Sehr herzliche und zuvorkommende Gastgeber sind die Familie Metzenleitner.

Ein wunderschönes Zimmer in einem wunderschönen Haus mit einem wunderschönen Blick auf die Berge. Auch das Frühstück war sehr lecker und die Gastgeber sehr freundlich. Wir haben uns rundum wohlgefühlt!

Es ist sehr schwierig, etwas Negatives an unserem Aufenthalt zu finden. Vielleicht, dass kein Duschgel und Shampoo standardmäßig im Bad bereitgestellt wird. Oder dass beim Frühstück nicht regelmäßig nachgefüllt wurde, wenn etwas leer war. Das war es dann aber auch schon.

Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt, von der Begrüßung, über Zimmer bis zum Essen, ins Pechhäusl kommen wir sehr gerne wieder, wir haben auch jeden Tag unseres Aufenthaltes die sehr gute Küche genossen. Wir waren nicht zum ersten Mal in Berchtesgaden, bei der letzten Unterkunft konnten wir dies nicht sagen, wurde auch nicht nachgefragt
