The Garden Suite has its own entrance to the house. All rooms lead directly out into the garden or onto the private large south-facing terrace with hanging chairs, two private loungers and a seating area. In the cozy kitchen-cum-living room there is an old wood-burning tiled stove.

Downstairs you will be welcomed by a spacious couch with an unobstructed panoramic view of the lake and a private terrace, from which you can reach the water in just a few steps. Upstairs, the spiral staircase takes you to the lake-facing double bed with a spacious balcony in front of it, hovering above it all, with two lounge chairs waiting for you.

Description

The picturesque house on Fraueninsel in Lake Chiemsee has views of the lake, Herrenchiemsee and the mountain range behind from all suites. The house was completely renovated in 2022. High-quality and tasteful furnishing of the suites by a South Tyrolean carpenter's workshop. Guests of the 4 suites of the HOIXL Gütl have access to the lakefront property directly in front of the Gütl with jetty, bathing ladder and sunbeds as well as to the exclusive communal sauna in the boathouse.

Environment description

The Fraueninsel with its historic monastery is located in Lake Chiemsee visavi the Herreninsel with Herrenchiemsee Castle and monastery. With its mountains and lakes, the Chiemgau offers a high level of recreation and sporting activities in all seasons. Art and culture lovers can take excursions to the nearby cities of Salzburg, Rosenheim, Berchtesgaden, etc.

About the host

The hosts have renovated the old Hoixl Gütl with a lot of heart and commitment. Four charming and tasteful suites were created. The Hoixl Gütl is run by Silke Groh in cooperation with Florian Ebner, the host of the royal Bavarian Gasthau zur Linde on Fraueninsel. The contact person on site at the reception at the "Linde" is Bianca Wolff. Please note that the accommodation can NOT be cancelled free of charge. A deposit of EUR500 is required upon booking. The Fraueninsel is car-free. You can only arrive with a passenger boat of the Chiemsee-Schifffahrt. You can park the car in Prien or in Gstadt at the harbor or near the harbor. The parking and the boat trip are NOT included in the price.

A deposit of 500,00 Euro will be charged at the time of booking, which will be refunded promptly after the end of the rental period.Terms of payment:The deposit in the amount of 50% of the rental price plus the deposit is due after the booking confirmation. If the deposit is not received by the host within 7 days, he can withdraw from the contract. Non-payment is considered a withdrawal and entitles to re-rent. The remaining rental price is due 30 days before departure.If the booking is made at short notice, i.e. 30 days or less before departure, the invoice (full rental price) plus deposit is due immediately. The invoice amount plus deposit must be transferred in any case before the start of the rental.The payment is made exclusively by bank transfer to the account specified on the invoice. The invoice will follow subsequently in a separate email.Revocation and cancellationWe would like to point out that there is no right of revocation for lodging establishments according to § 312g para. 2 No. 9 BGB.A necessary withdrawal from the trip must be communicated in writing. Depending on the date of receipt of the cancellation notice, the following regulations apply to the percentage refund of the invoice amount to the guest:- Up to the 90th day before departure 75%- Up to the 30th day before departure 50%- After that, i.e. in the case of a later cancellation 0%The conclusion of a travel cancellation costs/interruption insurance is recommended.

Arrival Description

Take the train to Prien am Chiemsee. By car to Gstadt am Chiemsee: Park your car here and from there take the boat of the Chiemsee-Schifffahrt to Fraueninsel.The parking lot and the boat ride are NOT included in the price.
