Description
Our new, in January 2022 completed, cozy vacation apartment is located in the entire attic and is accessible via an elegant outdoor staircase. Our house was newly built in 2001 and is located on the outskirts of Grassau in close proximity to the golf course and the moor nature reserve. The town center with stores and restaurants is about 2km away and is easily accessible via sidewalks. Our house is an ideal starting point for sports activities such as cycling, hiking and mountain tours, alpine skiing, cross-country skiing and sledding. The lido at the beautiful Chiemsee with beach bar invites you to a relaxing bathing vacation. A boat trip to the nearby Herrenchiemsee Castle and Fraueninsel or a cultural excursion to Salzburg, 40 minutes away, are an experience.
Environment description
Start with a breakfast in the morning sun and let the day end in the play of colors of the sunset. Directly on the quiet outskirts of our house start cycling and hiking trails into the nearby nature and moor conservation area. The golf course and the sports ground are within walking distance. To the village center with ice cream parlor, pizzerias and stores it is a 2-km walk. To the lido at the Chiemsee it is a few minutes drive. The snow-sure Reit im Winkl with its cross-country skiing trails and the alpine skiing area Winklmoos-Steinplatte can be reached in about 25 minutes.

The above prices are plus spa tax in the amount of 1.00 EUR per person/night for adults. Children from 6 to 17 years: 0,50 EUR. Children from 0 to 5 years as well as severely disabled persons from 80% are free of charge. You can either transfer the remaining amount 1 week before arrival at the latest or pay it in cash on arrival.
Arrival Description
Freeway A8 Munich-Salzburg, exit Bernau , turn left in the direction of Reit im Winkl. After passing through Bernau and Rottau you reach the village of Grassau. In Grassau turn left at the traffic circle onto Bahnhofstraße, after approx. 500 meters turn left onto Aichstraße. After the Golf Resort Achental turn left. After approx. 300 meters you will find our house after the second curve on the left side.
