Description
Exclusive alpine lifestyle for discerning tastes. Arrive at a retreat for body, mind and soul. With its regionally typical yet modern construction in solid wood, the building blends harmoniously into the centre of Oberaudorf. The complex has its own photovoltaic system, which is used to generate electricity for the total of 15 flats. Solid wood houses are known to require significantly less heating energy. This is because wood as a building material has very good self-regulating insulation properties. In winter, hardly any energy escapes outside, and in summer, hardly any heat escapes inside. Wooden construction is also beneficial to the health of allergy sufferers and asthmatics. Wood can absorb and release moisture (open-pored structure), so that the climate is independently regulated to 45 - 55 % humidity. This creates a health-promoting environment and has a calming effect on the respiratory tract. The 112 sqm light-flooded flat on the top floor, with its ceilings up to four metres high, provides plenty of space to feel good. The location as well as the installed soundproof walls and doors (between the living and quiet areas) and the room acoustic measures prevent disturbing noises. In addition to the location and the outstanding view, the refuge also has a terrace, two underground parking spaces, a high technical standard, fast WLAN/LAN, underfloor heating, wellness area (sauna, rain shower), a fully equipped kitchen with exclusive electrical appliances, large televisions in all living rooms and bedrooms, and a fireplace. The materials used include oak wood, natural stone slabs and textile wallpaper.
Environment description
The REFUGIUM AM WILDEN KAISER***** in the Upper Bavarian climatic health resort of Oberaudorf, the "Pearl of the Inn Valley", stands for a diverse cultural program and sporting activities, which include hiking, climbing, skiing and snowboarding as well as flying, the freefall slide and the summer toboggan run on the Oberaudorf (Hocheck) adventure mountain. At almost any time - in spring, in summer, in autumn and partly also in winter - you can hike (or enjoy culture) in a very relaxed way on the "local mountain" of Oberaudorf (Hocheck) or in the immediate vicinity. Hiking with a view: From the Mangfall Mountains to the Kufsteinerland, from the Zahmen to the Wilder Kaiser and back again via the Inn Valley to Oberaudorf. The number of hiking and climbing routes around Oberaudorf is large. The surrounding area offers easy and challenging mountain tours as well as via ferratas of varying degrees of difficulty. You can take the gondola or chairlift for a short ride and then start your hiking tour, or you can climb up varied rock formations. Bolder fans will also find their route.
About the host
For us, "Refugium" means: living in an environment that makes you happy. In our understanding, this includes not only comfort (e.g. soundproofed bedrooms and blinds to sleep like a marmot) and wellness (e.g. sauna, fireplace), but also nature or experiencing nature (e.g. mountain view).
