Description

Our country inn is located on the outskirts of Obing (Großbergham), not far from Seeon Monastery. Rich breakfast buffet, in fine weather you can also have breakfast in the garden. Outside breakfast hours, a rich selection of drinks is available for self-service, as well as coffee and tea for a fee. So you can end your holiday day comfortably in the garden or in the house. Our own Griessee lake is located about 15 minutes' walk from the Landhaus in the nature reserve of the Seeon lake district, with a large sunbathing lawn and kiosk. You can find a shady spot under the trees or a parasol. Footbridges and steps lead into the water. The brave dare to take a leap from the diving tower. There is also a playground with a sandpit and swings and a volleyball court. Dogs are not allowed in the bathing area and the rest of the shore area is a nature reserve, so leashes are compulsory.

Environment description

An in-house bathing lake (10 hectares) with a large sunbathing lawn (only 900m away from the country inn), playground and kiosk operation as well as an opportunity for fishing (carp, pike, pikeperch, tench, bream, perch, catfish, eel) for house guests in the nature reserve of the Seeon lakes. Enjoy the Bavarian tranquillity in a traditional country inn and let yourself be spoilt by our regional, international and vegetarian cuisine. Breakfast buffet, choice of menu (with half board, also for vegetarian food) and á la carte are just as much a part of it as hearty Chiemgau snacks or our homemade cakes. Our special location Active holidaymakers (by the way, we also have rental bikes) will find everything they are looking for here. Cyclists can explore the region on the 1,200 kilometre long network of cycle paths. Hiking enthusiasts climb the Chiemgau Alps. Surfers and sailors sail across Lake Chiemsee and golfers improve their handicap on nine courses in the region. But there's also something for horse lovers, pilots and water rats. Singles, Pärchen und Aktive fühlen sich bei uns besonders wohl, neben Familien mit Kindern: ein richtiges "Kinderland" in den Sommermonaten rund um den Griessee. Übrigens, Kinder bis 5 Jahre bezahlen bei uns nichts, ab 5 bis 12 Jahre 50% und bis 15 Jahre 25% Ermäßigung (im Zimmer der Eltern). Angelfreunde (Schein notwendig) können Ihren Fang anstelle von Halb-/Vollpension kostenlos nach Art des Hauses zubereiten lassen. Bei Ü/F ist dieser Service auch gegen einen kleinen Unkostenbeitrag möglich. Hausgäste können gegen eine geringe Aufwandsentschädigung unsere komfortable, neue Fahrradflotte in Anspruch nehmen. Haustiere (ohne Verpflegung) können selbstverständlich nach Absprache mitgebracht werden.

Sie erreichen uns mit dem PKW über den Autobahnring München-Ost, Ausfahrt "Haar", dann weiter über die Bundesstraße 304, zwischen Wasserburg und Traunstein.
