You will find our family-friendly guesthouse 'Beim Rottmeister' in the heart of Reit im Winkl. A house furnished with loving details in the middle of one of the most beautiful holiday regions in Bavaria. The central yet quiet location of our guesthouse allows not only you, but also the car to take a holiday. The house offers everything you need to recover from the daily hectic and the ever-increasing stress of everyday life and to gain new strength in a relaxed atmosphere. You can expect very comfortably furnished holiday flats, which are designed for cosiness as well as a personal and cosy atmosphere. Spacious, light-flooded rooms, all with balcony and the overwhelming view provide an incomparable living feeling. Flat-screen TVs provide entertainment for the whole family. And should you eat in your own four walls, a top-equipped kitchen with four-plate ceramic hob, oven, microwave and dishwasher is at your disposal. On our terrace and beautiful sunbathing lawn, sun-seekers will get their money's worth. For our younger guests, there is a playground in our own garden. You can relax in our small steam or dry sauna. There is a heated ski room for your sports equipment. Bicycles and motorbikes can be stored in the garage. All localities, winter and summer hiking trails, the open-air swimming pool, the ski lifts, the cross-country skiing trails, the ski kindergarten, the ski school, our farmer's theatre and all shopping facilities in the village area can be easily reached on foot within a few minutes. Environment description
Reit im Winkl climatic health resort According to Wikipedia, the title of climatic health resort is awarded to "places whose air and climate, according to an expert opinion, have properties that are conducive to recreation and health." Reit im Winkl was designated a climatic health resort in 1956 and since then has repeatedly met the requirements for the certificate by making efforts. Firstly, the altitude, which ensures that the summer heat remains moderate and the nights pleasantly cool. The village is surrounded by extensive mountain forests of the Chiemgau Alps and belongs to the "Bavarian Alps" climate district. The weather character is decisively determined by the conditions, i.e. by the influence of the mountain ranges and the valley incisions on the weather pattern. In addition to the natural conditions for good air, we actively take care with the natural warmth or ample bus offers that the good mountain air is preserved for us.

Arrival Description
Leave the motorway A8 Munich-Salzburg at the exit Bernau and turn left in the direction of Grassau - Marquartstein and from there in the direction of Reit im Winkl. From the centre of the village turn left at the town hall and follow the road at the Sporthaus am Eck to the right onto the B 305 in the direction of Ruhpolding. After approx. 200 m you will find the guesthouse on the right-hand side after the Kupferkanne restaurant.
