The Steinplatte flat is the largest domicile in the Chalet Viol with approx. 160m2 over 2 levels. The high-quality furnished flat is located on the first floor and attic and has a beautiful and high-quality equipped eat-in kitchen with kitchen block and large oak table, which offers space for 6-8 people. From the kitchen you have a wonderful view of the Kaisergebirge through the panoramic windows. In the attic there is also a large sofa corner with glass fireplace, TV, a wonderful reading corner and an inviting loggia with west orientation for e.g. beautiful evening hours outdoors. The Steinplatte flat has 3 cosy bedrooms on the upper floor with box-spring beds, old wood panelling and a TV in each, as well as 2 beautiful bathrooms with bathtub and additional walk-in rain shower. The highlight on this level is the sauna area with a sauna for 4-5 people, 2 loungers and direct access to the balcony. The Steinplatte flat is perfect for 6 people.

Our flat "Kammerkör" is approx. 60m2 in size, is located on the ground floor and has a beautiful large terrace with direct garden access and sun all day. The living-dining room is south and west facing and offers a wonderful panoramic view of the Kaisergebirge mountains through lots of windows. Our flat "Kammerkör" has a beautiful, bright living room with open kitchen, a fireplace and cosy sofa corner incl. sofa bed, as well as a bedroom with box spring bed (1.80m), a bathroom with sauna, walk in rain shower and a separate WC - perfect for 2 to 4 people. If desired and available, the flats "Winklmoos" and "Kammerkör" can also be connected by a connecting door to form a large flat of approx. 110m2. This offers space for 4-6 people. Our flat "Winklmoos" is approx. 50m2 in size, is located on the ground floor and has a small terrace with a wonderful south/west orientation. The flat has a cosy bedroom with box spring bed, old wood panelling, TV and a 1.50m wardrobe, as well as the possibility of additional use of a sofa bed in the living room. The flat has a nice en suite bathroom with rain shower, a small open kitchen (without oven), a cosy sitting area with table and a seating area with TV. There is a private parking space in front of the house. In total, Chalet Viol has 2 e-charging points, which can be used by guests for a separate charge. Our flat "Winklmoos" is perfect for 2 people.

The chalet was lovingly renovated in 2022 with high-quality natural materials and exclusively furnished. Your advantage as our guest: We are a partner rental company/business of the Reit im Winkl Swimming Card. This gives you the opportunity to receive additional free services in addition to our own services, such as free admission to the Reit im Winkl outdoor pool, the Kössen forest swimming pool, and the east shore and lake promenade at Walchsee.

Environment description

Reit im Winkl climatic health resort According to Wikipedia, the title of climatic health resort is awarded to "places whose air and climate, according to an expert opinion, have properties that are conducive to recreation and health." Reit im Winkl was designated a climatic health resort in 1956 and since then has repeatedly met the requirements for the certificate by making efforts. Firstly, the altitude, which ensures that the summer heat remains moderate and the nights pleasantly cool. The village is surrounded by extensive mountain forests of the Chiemgau Alps and belongs to the "Bavarian Alps" climate district. The weather character is decisively determined by the conditions, i.e. by the influence of the mountain ranges and the valley incisions on the weather pattern. In addition to the natural conditions for good air, we actively take care with the natural warmth or ample bus offers that the good mountain air is preserved for us.

About the host

Wir haben das Chalet Viol mit viel Liebe zum Detail im Jahr 2022 saniert und mit hochwertigen Naturmaterialien neu aufgebaut. Uns ist das Thema Nachhaltigkeit sehr wichtig, darum heizen wir mit Naturwärme und bieten für unsere Gäste 2 E-Ladesäulen für Autos, sowie Auflademöglichkeiten für E-Bikes in einem abschließbaren Gartenhaus an. Das ganze Haus hat eine Frischluft Anlage, so dass die Luft in den Räumen immer neu und wohl temperiert ist. Wir freuen uns, wenn Sie sich bei uns wohlfühlen.

Which positive impressions did you have?

Einchecken und Auschecken war vollkommen unkompliziert. Es war alles da, was wir für einen angenehmen Aufenthalt brauchten und die Gastgeberin vor Ort war sehr bemüht und freundlich. Die Einrichtung der Wohnung war sehr modern, dabei dennoch warm und gemütlich und passte gut zum süddeutschen Stil. Besonders schön finde ich das Beleuchtungskonzept.

Which negative impressions did you have?

Das einzige, was ich mir trotz des Winters gern gewünscht hätte, wären noch Stühle auf der Terrasse. Ich bin mir sicher, dass ich auf Nachfrage noch welche bekommen hätte, aber ich wollte für das eine- oder zweimalige Nutzung innerhalb der Woche keinen Aufwand betreiben.

Wir haben uns rundherum wohlgefühlt in diesem tollen Chalet. Es hat an nichts gefehlt. Die Lage mit der herrlichen Aussicht auf den täglichen Sonnenuntergang war fantastisch.

Sehr schöne Einrichtung, alles war sauber und man hat sich direkt wohl gefühlt. Die Betreuung Steffi war auch sehr nett und hilfsbereit und hat uns alles wichtige gut erklärt. Im großen und ganzen waren wir wirklich sehr sehr zufrieden und happy mit der Ferienwohnung und kommen gerne direkt nächstes Jahr wieder!

Das große Sofa (Schlafcouch) hatte nicht mehr so einen einwandfreien Zustand und hat auf uns einen nicht so hochwertigen Eindruck gemacht wie auf den Bildern
