The luxurious Schneewinkl holiday flat in the renovated former Gasthof Blaserwirt, which was only completed at the end of 2022, is the perfect starting point for holidays in the Chiemgau Alps. Cross-country skiing trails and hiking paths are in the immediate vicinity. The ski bus to the Seegatterl valley station of the Winklmoosalm - Steinplatte ski area stops right by the flat. The village centre with many restaurants and shopping facilities is about 1.3 km away, with the nearest restaurant only 200 metres away. In summer, when the weather is nice, you can enjoy breakfast in the wonderful morning sun on the terrace or read a book in the sun lounger in the garden. With a free baby cot, children's crockery and cutlery, crawling blanket, toys and puzzles as well as a sledge, the flat is also well equipped for families with small children. There are two free parking spaces available. The flat for up to six people with three bedrooms, kitchen, living room, two bathrooms and garden is completely smartly equipped. Reit im Winkl climatic health resort According to Wikipedia, the title of climatic health resort is awarded to "places whose air and climate, according to an expert opinion, have properties that are conducive to recreation and health." Reit im Winkl was designated a climatic health resort in 1956 and since then has repeatedly met the requirements for the certificate by making efforts. Firstly, the altitude, which ensures that the summer heat remains moderate and the nights pleasantly cool. The village is surrounded by extensive mountain forests of the Chiemgau Alps and belongs to the "Bavarian Alps" climate district. The weather character is decisively determined by the conditions, i.e. by the influence of the mountain ranges and the valley incisions on the weather pattern. In addition to the natural conditions for good air, we actively take care with the natural warmth or ample bus offers that the good mountain air is preserved for us.
About the host
We are a family with two children aged 4 and 6 and enjoy spending our holidays at FeWo Schneewinkl ourselves, so it is important to us that the flat feels like a second home for both us and our guests - cosy, high quality and with little touches that distinguish it from a mere holiday flat.
