Holiday home like in a picture book! This well-kept, comfortable country house is wonderfully quiet. From the sunny south-facing slope you can see the fascinating mountain panorama of the Wilder Kaiser. The spacious 2- and 3-room flats are for 2-6 people. The house has a games and table tennis room, and a sauna for relaxing. A large sunbathing lawn with playground is adjacent to the house. We are looking forward to your visit in our guesthouse Hausenbauer. Sunny south-facing slope surrounded by flowering meadows. Good starting point for hikes (Hutzenalm, Sauermöseralm, Taubensee). Golf course in the immediate vicinity. Playground and sunbathing lawn at the house. In case of bad weather, our sauna and a large playroom for your children are at your disposal. Wonderful view of the surrounding snow-covered mountains. Cross-country ski trails and groomed winter hiking trails nearby. Daily free bus to the centre of the village and to the different parts of the village with connection to the Winklmoos-Alm. Your advantage as our guest: We are a partner rental company/business of the Reit im Winkl Swimming Card. This gives you the opportunity to receive additional free services in addition to our own services, such as free admission to the Reit im Winkl outdoor pool, the Kössen forest swimming pool, and the east shore and lake promenade at Walchsee.
Environment description
Reit im Winkl climatic health resort According to Wikipedia, the title "climatic health resort" is awarded to "places whose air and climate, according to an expert opinion, have properties that are conducive to recreation and health. Reit im Winkl was designated a climatic health resort in 1956 and since then has repeatedly met the requirements for the certificate by making efforts. For one thing, the altitude ensures that the summer heat remains moderate and the nights pleasantly cool. The village is surrounded by extensive mountain forests of the Chiemgau Alps and belongs to the "Bavarian Alps" climate district. The weather character is decisively determined by the conditions, i.e. by the influence of the mountain ranges and the valley incisions on the weather pattern. In addition to the natural conditions for good air, we actively take care with the natural warmth or ample bus offers that the good mountain air is preserved for us.

From the centre of the village, take the "Tiroler Straße" in the direction of the state border. After approx. 1 km, turn right in the direction of "Unterbichler Straße" and follow this until you reach the "Illmauer Weg" turn-off. The first house on the right is "Gästehaus Hausenbauer".
