The Schmuck guesthouse is located in the district of Blindau, in the beautiful climatic spa and winter sports resort of Reit im Winkl. Spend your holiday away from the hustle and bustle in our exclusively equipped holiday flats for two to four people. Each flat has large balconies with a wonderful panoramic view. From the terrace you have an unobstructed view of our mountain world. On the large sunbathing lawn you can really let your soul dangle. You can also relax in our games and TV room. The mild climate of the climatic health resort Reit im Winkl, its lovely landscapes and the numerous leisure activities work wonders on body and soul. Our house is therefore the ideal starting point for hiking, cycling, swimming or skiing. In winter, the cross-country ski trails and the Blindauer lifts are in the immediate vicinity. Also nearby is the area of the famous Winklmoosalm with a wonderful skiing area that will satisfy even the most demanding skiers. Reit im Winkl climatic health resort According to Wikipedia, the title "climatic health resort" is awarded to "places whose air and climate, according to an expert opinion, have properties that are conducive to recreation and health. Reit im Winkl was designated a climatic health resort in 1956 and since then has repeatedly met the requirements for the certificate by making efforts. For one thing, the altitude ensures that the summer heat remains moderate and the nights pleasantly cool. The village is surrounded by extensive mountain forests of the Chiemgau Alps and belongs to the "Bavarian Alps" climate district. Arrival Description
By car to Reit im Winkl: Coming from Munich on the A 8 motorway, take the Grabenstätt exit. From there take the Bundesstraße 305 (German Alpine Road) to Reit im Winkl (27km). The Inntal motorway offers an alternative. Turn off shortly before Rosenheim at the "Inntaldreieck" and drive to the Oberaudorf exit. From there, take the Austrian federal road 172 to Reit im Winkl. Coming from Salzburg, take the motorway (A 8) to the Inzell-Ruhpolding exit and continue via Ruhpolding to Reit im Winkl. By train to Reit im Winkl. The nearest train station is in Prien am Chiemsee. From here you have the best bus connections (RVO bus line 9505) to Reit im Winkl. By plane: Munich Airport is approx. 140 km and Salzburg Airport approx. 70 km from Reit im Winkl.
