Welcome to our "House of Joy"... Experience the enchanting charm of Reit im Winkl in our beautifully idyllic and wonderfully quiet "small" but "fine" guest house Schönfeld. Four particularly stylish and well-equipped feel-good vacation apartments for 1-4 people await you, with large cozy balconies and fantastic mountain views, as well as our own sauna. All vacation apartments have free WiFi, and free parking spaces with an electric charging station are located directly at the house. Our "House of Joy" offers the ideal starting point for an active and relaxing vacation in every season. Pets are not allowed. Special feature: on request, the one-room apartment "Zwerchenberg" can be booked together with the three-room vacation apartment "Almgenuss" as a four-room vacation apartment for a maximum of 4 adults and 2 children. This means you can enjoy an entire floor to yourselves. In summer, you can enjoy the beautiful natural landscape surrounding our guesthouse. An enchanting garden with many secluded spots, a covered sun terrace, and a barbecue area invites you to relax and linger in a particularly beautiful natural setting. Pure sunshine from the early morning hours until sunset! With a wide range of activities right on our doorstep, our guesthouse is an ideal starting point for wonderful hikes, fantastic mountain and climbing tours, and varied cycling, mountain biking, and e-bike tours. A drying room with shoe dryers for hiking and cycling shoes and a lockable bike garage with e-bike charging stations are available! In winter, you can enjoy a snow-covered winter landscape around our guesthouse. There are romantic winter hiking trails, perfectly groomed cross-country ski trails, a natural toboggan run, a ski jump, snow tubing, and ski lifts, as well as a wonderful place to stop for refreshments at the "Blindauer Liftstüberl" in the immediate vicinity. A ski room with ski boot heating and sleds are available! Children's service: On request, we provide a travel cot, high chair, changing mat, baby bathtub, potty, toilet seat, buggy, and in winter a sled and sled with push handle free of charge. There is a children's playground in the immediate vicinity. Shopping: Within walking distance, you will find the restaurant "Gasthaus Sonneck," which will spoil you with delicious Bavarian delicacies. You can get everything you need for breakfast at our two bakeries in the center of Reit im Winkl, where many other shops, restaurants, and cafes also invite you to visit. Your advantage as our guest: We are a partner rental company/business of the Reit im Winkl Swimming Card. This means that, in addition to our own services, you can enjoy further free services, such as free admission to the Reit im Winkl outdoor pool, the Kössen forest swimming pool, the Ostufer and the Walchsee lake promenade in summer, as well as a 50% discount on the 3-hour ticket to the Vita-Alpina adventure/wellness pool in Ruhpolding all year round. We are also a partner rental company/operator of the Benzeck ski lifts. Reit im Winkl - The Pearl of Upper Bavaria The dreamy holiday resort of Reit im Winkl, at an altitude of 695 meters, lies in the heart of the Chiemgau region, south of Lake Chiemsee in beautiful Upper Bavaria. It is the southernmost village in Upper Bavaria, just before the border with Tyrol/Austria, protected and framed by the Chiemgau and Tyrolean Alps. Characterized by the beautiful Upper Bavarian architectural style, the church still stands at the center of the town center. Arrival Description
Reit im Winkl is located in the Bavarian Alps in the Chiemgau region, between Lake Chiemsee and Kitzbühel, in the border triangle of Bavaria, Salzburg, and Tyrol. Our house is located in the charming and sunny district of Blindau, in a quiet and scenic location. By car to Reit im Winkl... coming from Munich on the A8, take the Grabenstätt exit. From there, take the B305 federal highway to Reit im Winkl. A good alternative is the Inntal Autobahn. Turn off at the Inntaldreieck junction just before Rosenheim and drive to the Oberaudorf exit. From there, take the Austrian B172 federal highway to Reit im Winkl. (This route is toll-free and does not require a vignette!) Coming from Salzburg, take the A8 motorway to the Inzell-Ruhpolding exit and continue via Ruhpolding to Reit im Winkl. By train to Reit im Winkl... The nearest train stations are in Ruhpolding, Übersee, Bernau, and Prien am Chiemsee. From Prien, you have the best bus connections to Reit im Winkl.. By plane... Munich Airport is approximately 140 km from Reit im Winkl and Salzburg Airport is approximately 70 km away.
