Description
Arrive, unpack and feel good, the motto at the Sonnenhang guesthouse and a warm welcome. The family-run house is situated in a sunny location at the entrance to Reit im Winkl and you can therefore reach almost all leisure facilities and our appealing shopping and dining options in just a few minutes on foot. The bus stops to the Winklmoos-Alm-Steinplatte ski area, the local bus, the shuttle buses to the Hindenburg hut and the hiking bus are all just a few minutes away. The cross-country stadium and the festival hall are also in the immediate vicinity. We offer 2 completely new 2-room holiday flats furnished in country house style for 1-3 persons. The flats are very comfortable and furnished with love. Fully equipped, modern kitchens, sitting areas and high-quality couches are of course also included. Enjoy the sun and the wonderful panoramic view on the accompanying furnished balcony. Of course, you have your own parking space and free W-Lan at your disposal. Optionally, we also have a double room that you can book separately for parents, friends and acquaintances. (without breakfast) Your advantage as our guest: We are a partner rental company/business of the Reit im Winkl Swimming Card. This gives you the opportunity to receive additional free services in addition to our own services, such as free admission to the Reit im Winkl outdoor pool, the Kössen forest swimming pool, and the east shore and lake promenade at Walchsee.

Reit im Winkl climatic health resort According to Wikipedia, the title "climatic health resort" is awarded to "places whose air and climate, according to an expert opinion, have properties that are conducive to recreation and health. Reit im Winkl was designated a climatic health resort in 1956 and since then has repeatedly met the requirements for the certificate by making efforts. For one thing, the altitude ensures that the summer heat remains moderate and the nights pleasantly cool. The village is surrounded by extensive mountain forests of the Chiemgau Alps and belongs to the "Bavarian Alps" climate district. The weather character is decisively determined by the conditions, i.e. by the influence of the mountain ranges and the valley incisions on the weather pattern. In addition to the natural conditions for good air, we actively take care with natural warmth or ample bus offers that the good mountain air is preserved for us.
