Description

Our house is located in the district of Groißenbach, a few minutes away from the centre of Reit im Winkl. We offer you a cosy two-room holiday flat with its own entrance and it offers space for up to 4 people. Ideal starting point for numerous sporting activities, such as skiing, cross-country skiing, hiking, walking and cycling. The bus stop to the Winklmoos-Alm/Steinplatte and to the cross-country skiing trails at the Hindenburghütte is in the immediate vicinity, about 70 metres away. Motorcyclists are very welcome. We look forward to your visit.

Reit im Winkl climatic health resort According to Wikipedia, the title "climatic health resort" is awarded to "places whose air and climate, according to an expert opinion, have properties that are conducive to recreation and health. Reit im Winkl was designated a climatic health resort in 1956 and since then has repeatedly met the requirements for the certificate by making efforts. For one thing, the altitude ensures that the summer heat remains moderate and the nights pleasantly cool. The village is surrounded by extensive mountain forests of the Chiemgau Alps and belongs to the "Bavarian Alps" climate district. The weather character is decisively determined by the conditions, i.e. by the influence of the mountain ranges and the valley incisions on the weather pattern. In addition to the natural conditions for good air, we actively take care with the natural warmth or ample bus offers that the good mountain air is preserved for us.

Arrival Description

Leave the motorway A8 Munich-Salzburg at the exit Bernau and turn left in the direction of Grassau - Marquartstein and from there in the direction of Reit im Winkl. On the B305 before Reit im Winkl in the district Entfelden turn left in the direction of Ruhpolding. At the end of the road turn right. You will reach the house after approx. 600 metres on the right-hand side.
