The "Landhaus am Letten" has two beautiful holiday flats. It is located close to the centre on a south-facing slope on the local mountain. It is a 5-minute walk to the centre of the village. All shops and facilities in the village are within walking distance. Our guests appreciate the quiet and idyllic location with a view of the Reit im Winkler mountains. A small stream flows right next door. Hiking trails lead directly past the house into the surrounding nature and mountains. The barefoot park with Kneipanlage at Grünbühel and the well-known via ferrata at Hausbachfall are only a few metres away. Your advantage as our guest: We are a partner rental company/business of the Reit im Winkl Swimming Card. This gives you the opportunity to receive additional free services in addition to our own services, such as free admission to the Reit im Winkl outdoor pool, the Kössen forest swimming pool, and the east shore and lake promenade at Walchsee.

Luftkurort Reit im Winkl Laut Wikipedia wird das Prädikat Luftkurort an "Ortschaften vergeben, deren Luft und Klima laut einem Gutachten Eigenschaften aufweisen, die für Erholung und Gesundheit förderlich sind. Reit im Winkl wurde 1956 zum Luftkurort ernannt und hat seitdem die Voraussetzungen für das Gutachten durch bemühen immer wieder erfüllt. Zum einen die Höhenlage, die dafür sorgt, dass die Sommerhitze gemäßigt und die Nächte angenehm kühl bleiben. Der Ort ist umgeben von ausgedehnten Bergwäldern der Chiemgauer Alpen und ist zum Großklima dem Klimabezirk „Bayerische Alpen“ zuzurechnen. Der Witterungscharakter wird entscheidend durch die Gegebenheiten, das heißt durch den Einfluss der Gebirgszüge und der Taleinschnitte auf das Wettergeschehen, bestimmt.Neben den natürlichen Voraussetzungen für gute Luft kümmern wir uns aktiv mit der Naturwärme oder reichlich Bus-Angeboten darum, dass uns die gute Bergluft erhalten bleibt.

Arrival Description
By car to Reit im Winkl: Coming from Munich on the A 8 motorway, take the Grabenstätt exit. From there take the Bundesstraße 305 (German Alpine Road) to Reit im Winkl (27km). The Inntal motorway offers an alternative. Turn off shortly before Rosenheim at the "Inntaldreieck" and drive to the Oberaudorf exit. From there, take the Austrian federal road 172 to Reit im Winkl. Coming from Salzburg, take the motorway (A 8) to the Inzell-Ruhpolding exit and continue via Ruhpolding to Reit im Winkl. By train to Reit im Winkl: The nearest train station is in Prien am Chiemsee. From here you have the best bus connections (RVO bus line 9505) to Reit im Winkl. By plane: Munich Airport is approx. 140 km and Salzburg Airport approx. 70 km from Reit im Winkl.
