Surrounded by the magnificent backdrop of the Upper Bavarian Alps, you will find family-run hospitality in the Hotel Almrausch in the centre of Reit im Winkl. Double and family rooms are available, including breakfast. Our hotel is an ideal starting point for a relaxing yet active holiday. In the outdoor seating area under two lime trees and in our restaurant we serve our guests a varied cuisine with regional dishes as well as dishes from all over the world. Afterwards, the evening can be rounded off in our cosy rustic hut bar. We look forward to seeing you.

Reit im Winkl climatic health resort According to Wikipedia, the title "climatic health resort" is awarded to "places whose air and climate, according to an expert opinion, have properties that are conducive to recreation and health. Reit im Winkl was designated a climatic health resort in 1956 and since then has repeatedly met the requirements for the certificate by making efforts. For one thing, the altitude ensures that the summer heat remains moderate and the nights pleasantly cool. The village is surrounded by extensive mountain forests of the Chiemgau Alps and belongs to the "Bavarian Alps" climate district. The weather character is decisively determined by the conditions, i.e. by the influence of the mountain ranges and the valley incisions on the weather pattern.
