Very close and yet quiet. Our Haus Abendsonne is only three minutes away from the centre of Reit im Winkl and yet in an absolutely quiet and dreamlike location. Not only are all shopping facilities, numerous restaurants, cross-country skiing trails, toboggan slopes and the swimming pool within easy walking distance, but the path to the next peak also starts in the immediate vicinity. Our holiday flats are located on the first floor and are comfortable, cosy and generously equipped - the perfect place for relaxing as well as active holidays. A large south-facing balcony with a fantastic view of the Kaisergebirge transforms into an additional room, especially in summer, where you can enjoy the morning and evening in the most beautiful way. Of course we are happy to advise you on all possibilities and are open to all questions and wishes. Our holiday flats and also we offer you a warm welcome at any time - and this does not only come from the environmentally friendly heating by our biomass heating plant Reit im Winkl. Reit im Winkl climatic health resort According to Wikipedia, the title "climatic health resort" is awarded to "places whose air and climate, according to an expert opinion, have properties that are conducive to recreation and health. Reit im Winkl was designated a climatic health resort in 1956 and since then has repeatedly met the requirements for the certificate by making efforts. For one thing, the altitude ensures that the summer heat remains moderate and the nights pleasantly cool. The village is surrounded by extensive mountain forests of the Chiemgau Alps and belongs to the "Bavarian Alps" climate district. The weather character is decisively determined by the conditions, i.e. by the influence of the mountain ranges and the valley incisions on the weather pattern. In addition to the natural conditions for good air, we actively take care with the natural warmth or ample bus offers that the good mountain air is preserved for us.
