Spend your vacation in the cozy, well-kept, hospitable and child-friendly atmosphere of our house in Ruhpolding. The vacation house is located at the idyllic Steinbach, surrounded by picturesque mountain scenery. It offers itself as a starting point for wonderful excursions and mountain hikes. Prepared cross-country ski trails and the ski lift or ski school at Westernberg are reachable in 3 minutes. Bicycle tours are also possible with the bicycles we provide (20,00 EUR per bike/day). After your activities and excursions, you can relax or enjoy sunbathing in our garden, on the terrace with wine arbor or on the balcony. In winter it is especially nice to stay in our cozy bay window room with tiled fireplace. You can reach the village center in only 5 minutes on foot. Our house can be reached via a quiet one-way street (30 zone). Your advantage: We are a partner company of the Chiemgau Card On your arrival you will receive the Chiemgau Card, with which you can enjoy numerous free offers in and around Ruhpolding. Among other things, you have access to mountain railways, ski lifts and adventure pools as well as various museums and guided hikes. You can also hire bikes free of charge and use public transport such as the regional buses and the Bavarian regional railway between Ruhpolding and Traunstein. So you can experience the region to the full and at the same time be surprised by the many free offers. We will be happy to send you further information and the detailed terms of use on request.

About the host

There are 2 parking spaces available in the double carport. If you want to make your vacation active, Ruhpolding offers you a lot in summer and winter. In summer you can hike, bike, play tennis, golf, horseback riding, hang gliding, paragliding or swim in the outdoor and indoor swimming pool in Ruhpolding. The fairy tale and amusement park in Ruhpolding is very popular with our younger guests. In winter, ski lifts, ski schools and snow-sure slopes as well as an ice rink ensure safe winter fun. After winter sports, you can end the day in the cozy sauna area of the Vita Alpina.

The prices quoted do not include the tourist tax applicable during your stay. This is 2.90 Euro per adult (aged 16 and over) per night and 1.70 Euro per child aged 6-15 per night. No tourist tax is charged for children aged 0 - 5 years.

Arrival Description

Coming from the A8 freeway, take exit 112 Traunstein/Siegsdorf on the B306 towards Siegsdorf/Inzell. After about 500m, take the first exit at the traffic circle in the direction of Ruhpolding/Reit im Winkl (state road 2098). This leads you directly to Ruhpolding. After the town sign turn right at the first possibility into Maiergschwendter Straße, then after about 200m take the second possibility to turn right into Steinbachweg (one-way street). House number 4 is our vacation home (please use the second entrance).
