Description

In the heart of the Achen Valley, nestled between the Hochplatte and the Tiroler Ache, lies the district of Raiten and is part of the mountaineering village of Schleching. The perfect location for all Chiemgau guests. Close to the Bavarian Sea, Lake Chiemsee and at the foot of the Alps. Our house welcomed its first guests already in 1864 under the name Gasthof zur Post and was renovated from 2015-1017. Since then, we have been a popular meeting place for locals and guests alike. Here we cook classic Bavarian cuisine and international classics with many regional products. Ideal conditions for all those who want to actively enjoy their leisure time. Whether hiking, cycling, golfing, kayaking, cross-country skiing, skiing or touring. For those who like it a bit more airy, there is the glider airfield in Unterwössen and many opportunities for paragliding. In summer, the Zellersee and Wössner See lakes invite bathing enthusiasts to refresh themselves. Lake Chiemsee is also only 15 minutes away by car. Since August 2019, completely new guest rooms are also available for those guests who would like to enjoy the Achental for longer. But also to e.g. Munich, Salzburg, Kitzbühel & Ruhpolding it is not far due to our central location and are therefore also ideal for day trips. We look forward to welcoming you hopefully soon at our place
