Description

With a fantastic view of the Watzmann, our house is located in Schönau a. Königssee. Ideal starting point for hikes at the Jenner and Watzmann area. The Königssee, the Jennerbahn and the bobsleigh and toboggan run can be reached in 10 minutes by foot. Other excursion destinations such as the salt mine and Kehlstein can be reached by car or by public transport. In winter you can hike through the snowy landscape. The skiing area Jenner can be reached in a few minutes and offers a ride down to the valley due to the snowmaking system. A cross-country ski trail is also located in the immediate vicinity.

Arrival Description

You reach via the A8 Munich-Salzburg shortly before the border Austria the exit Bad Reichenhall and follow the B 20 to Berchtesgaden. (If you continue over the border VIGNETTENPFLICHT!). At the traffic circle at Berchtesgaden main station take the exit to Königssee. After approx. 4 km you will reach a signpost for Königssee village. Turn off here and drive along Richard-Voß-Straße until you reach the Hochbahnstraße turn-off. The 3rd house on the left is our Haus am Bergbach.
