The Gästehaus Germania is centrally located in Schönau am Königssee, in a small side street. From here, our guest house is the ideal starting point for your excursions or mountain tours. In the immediate vicinity you will find, for example, the Königssee, the Jennerbahn and the Kehlsteinhaus. You can also reach the world-famous Mozart city of Salzburg or the spa town of Bad Reichenhall - with its rich cultural excursion destinations - in just 30 minutes by car. For your physical well-being, there are numerous restaurants just a few minutes' walk away. A supermarket and a pharmacy are also within walking distance. A car park is reserved for you directly in front of the house, and we also offer you free WLAN.

Environment description

Unser Gästehaus liegt in Schönau am Königssee, mitten im Herzen des Berchtesgadener Landes und direkt am Nationalpark Berchtesgaden. Umgeben von einer beeindruckenden Bergwelt erleben Sie hier Natur in ihrer schönsten Form - ruhig, ursprünglich und dennoch vielfältig. Nur wenige Minuten entfernt liegt der weltberühmte Königssee mit seinem smaragdgrünen Wasser und der Wallfahrtskirche St. Bartholomä. Die umliegenden Berge, allen voran der majestätische Watzmann, prägen das Panorama und laden zu Wanderungen, Bergtouren und unvergesslichen Ausblicken ein. Auch der Jenner mit seiner Seilbahn bietet herrliche Aussichten über das Tal und den See. Die Region ist ideal für Aktivurlauber und Erholungssuchende gleichermaßen: Wandern, Radfahren, Schwimmen in klaren Bergseen, Klettern oder einfach die Ruhe der Natur genießen. Im Winter verwandelt sich die Umgebung in ein Paradies für Skifahrer, Langläufer und Winterwanderer. Herzlich Willkommen in unserem Gästehaus Germania Wir, die Familie Stübler heißen euch recht herzlich Willkommen in unserem wunderschönen Zuhause. Ein Ort, der uns so gut gefällt, dass wir ihn auch sehr gerne mit euch teilen möchten. Gerne stehen wir euch mit hilfreichen Tipps und Tricks zur Seite. Kurz zu unserer Familie Ich, Susi Stübler, gelernte Einzelhandels Kauffrau aus der Modebranche, bin hier in diesem Haus aufgewachsen und habe es auch in meiner Kindheit schon sehr genossen, in diesem schönen Gästehaus Germania, die Menschen aus der ganzen Welt Willkommen zu heißen. Als wir uns 2019 dazu entschieden haben, das Haus wieder zu übernehmen, habe ich meinen Mann, Max Stübler, als KFZ Meister, ein bisschen ins kalte Wasser geworfen. Als echt gutes Team, gehen wir immer danach wie es uns gefällt - wenn wir irgendwo zu Gast sind. Nun muss ich euch auch noch den Rest unseres Teams vorstellen. Wir haben nämlich auch noch 3 Kinder mit in unserem Team: Fabian, Philipp und Alisa, die uns natürlich auch ganz tatkräftig unterstützen, wo

Arrival Description

You drive from the A8 Munich direction Salzburg. Take the exit Bad Reichenhall. This is the last exit before the Austrian border. (VIGNETTENPFLICHT!) From Bad Reichenhall on the B20 follow the signs to Berchtesgaden until you reach the traffic circle at the train station. From there take the exit towards Königssee on the B20. Drive to the first junction on the right into Untersteiner Straße. After about 2 km you will reach the village center of Unterstein. Then turn right into Waldhauserstraße. After about 200 meters turn left into the street "Im Maltermoos", then turn right, on the left side you will find the Gästehaus Germania.

Susi Stübler ist die beste Gastgeberin die man sich wünschen kann. Der Frühstücksraum ist sehr gemütlich. Sogar ein kleiner Schwedenofen würde befeuert. Das Frühstück selbst lässt keine Wünsche offen. Alles sehr liebevoll hergerichtet.
